Randy Wells.

QuoteWells won 12 games with a 3.05 ERA in his rookie season, and was considered one of the team's bright spots. But he fell on hard times afterward and couldn't deal with his newfound celebrity in Chicago.

Yeah, he fell apart due to the pressure of his insane fans and the overwhelming burden of fame. It had nothing to do with his rookie season being a lucky aberration completely out of line with his minor league numbers and an easily predictable regression back to mediocrity.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

Sully said AND couldn't deal, not BECAUSE he couldn't deal. Wells did call into the Score butthurt over a report that he'd been seen out mainlining Malort with Blackhawks players the night before one of his many shitty starts. So people recognized  and told on him when he allegedly did something unprofessional and then he compounded it by doing something more unprofessional. So, I see nothing wrong with this sentence. Carry on...

Because he's always throwing little snide comments like that into his articles about players he doesn't like. A lot of it unsourced or opinion-based. It annoys me on the rare occasions I read what he writes.

Also, this thread sucks.

No.

However, the previous thread for "Where Are They Now" titled something like "Baltimore" got Ratto'd.

So may as well put it here.

Or not.

Kameron Loe.

Thank fucking Christ.  It was barely 24 hours ago when I flipped the Cubs game on during one of the Hawks intermissions and was wondering what, exactly, a Kameron Loe is, and what the FUCK was it doing on my TV screen throwing scatballs a foot out of the strike zone.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

Met a guy at the hotel breakfast in New Orleans.  He was wearing a Cubs shirt.  I asked him if he knew who won the game on the previous night.  He said that he didn't know and apologized for not knowing because Tod Ricketts was one of his best friends.  I felt that it would be discrete of me to change the subject.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)
