MIKE OLT!!!

*Jordan over Ehlo fist pump*

At least remember Olt fondly for gamely batting multiple time with a broken wrist so the Cubs wouldn't be forced to call up Bryant sooner than they wanted.

Should we feel sorry for MY COLT now?

Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

He went 2-4 (with 2 strikeouts, natch) in his Sox debut. Honestly he was a smart pickup for them. They've got a whole month to give him a tryout and he's got more talent than any third baseman in their organization.  A part of me wants him to be serviceable for them so we can mock them for picking up a starter off the Cubs scrap heap.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

I owe Mike Olt nothing and now that he's down there I hope he's out of baseball by Tuesday.

Earlier this month Mike Olt became the first and only player to homer for both the Cubs and White Sox in the same season.  There's probably a BP Cup of some sort for that, so good for him.

Jared Allen.

It's not my money, but paying $11 million for a 6th round pick seems unwise.

But that's not what they're doing. They already paid him the $11mm so they're trading whatever the current value of Jared Allen is for a 6th rounder.

Would someone please explain what happened to the Bears?

They drafted really poorly for a really long time. This is what having no talent looks like.
