More like they traded Alcantara for Brooks and Coghlan started the season playing AAA ball.

I can't post Gordo's tweet because he blocked me, but he says Tim Federowicz will be DFAd tomorrow.

Let's hope he doesn't end up clearing waivers and back in Iowa.

Coghlan's not the same thing as a third string catcher, mostly because they are actually playing Coghlan, and they had better outfield options on the roster already.
