OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

so we've got Larry Bowa, Terry Francona, Lloyd McClendon, Tony Larussa, who are we missing to great the all sucky x-cub future manager team?
Except for the fact in the Ted Lilly one that you can see the baseball in his hand behind the knife. I don't know about the first one but I'm be very, very surprised if the second picture is an actual ad.

We also have mentioned Jim Tracy, Don Zimmer, Lee Elia, Davey Lopes, and Joe Girardi.

As unlikely as it seems, no.

Nor have they mentioned Jose F. Nieves, which I find staggering.  How quickly we forget.

If you want to get all fancy, I think Doug Meintkewitz (or as I like to call him "make a sandwich") was technically on the cubs for about a few hours in 2004, as part of the Nomar trade.

Bullshit.  I mentioned Dillard.

This thread has jumped the tracks.  No way should Keith Moreland have been mentioned.  The idea is crappy, useless journeyman, not team-leading hitters, as Moreland was in '82.

Sigh.

I'm pretty sure nobody's mentioned Mark Parent.  The schmuck who got picked off second base once, causing manager Tom Trebelhorn to call him a "dumbass" or something similar during one of his postgame firehouse chats in '94.

I have somewhere in the order of 20 Randy Martz baseball cards.  Whatever year that was, every time I bought a pack, it had a fucking Randy Martz in it.  Could have been worse.  Could have been Laddie Renfro.

Ah!  But therein lies the catch.  You see, my man, with the Cubs, crappy useless journeymen are usually our leading hitters.  I'm using the term 'leading hitters' as loosely as possible in this context, as are the Cubs.

Ahh, the Cubs. What other team could fill nearly 40 pages with useless, crappy players.
