needlessly piling on

Are you new here?

I plow through the needless piling on to get to the oneupsmanship.

All piling on done here is necessary and not a little sexy...
Take that, Adolf Eyechart.

The 10 games before Aramis got hurt: 5.3 runs per game, 7-3 record (Good!)
The 8 games after he got hurt: 5.6 runs per game, 5-3 record (Hey, who needs that bum anyway, right?)
The 18 games since then: 3.1 runs per game, 7-11 record (Bad.)

Come back soon, Pancakes.

Is it still post-AS break for his return?

I think this past week Lou said he wanted him back by July 1st for that stl, atlanta, milwaukee stretch.

Hopefully, this upcoming stretch will allow them to get the bats going a little and get some Ws.

Today, it's Demp against Russ Ortiz.

This weekend, Minnesota comes in with a 9-19 road record and they're throwing Slowey (8-2?) against Wells, Swarzak against Harden, and Baker against Lilly.

Then the Sux come in on Tuesday with match-ups of Z-Danks, Demp-Floyd, and Wells-Richard.

Cleveland finishes the homestand with three over the weekend against Harden, Lillly, and Z.

Unbelievable.  Ortiz, Byrdak, Arias, Sampson, LaTroy, and Fulchino have pitched for the Astros today.  The mighty Cubs offense has managed 1 run (on a BLABRY HR), 6 hits, 5 walks in 12 innings.  Are you fucking kidding me?

I'd say the joke is on me, but unfortunately, the joke is on the field.

The joke is on me - I watched the entire game and somehow stayed awake. What a snooze.

6 hits in 13 fucking innings?  First and third, nobody out, 2-3-4 coming up and nothing?

That whole facing shitty pitching and getting runs thing is off to a great start.  This offense is absolutely fucking pathetic right now.

Fixed.
