I thought they were baseball's version of the 1985 Bears...

... but now I wonder if they're more like the 1985 Cubs.

(I think Huey just might have smashed his laptop or smartphone thanks to that image.)
Feel free to change your vote between now and early November.
They're the 1985 Baltimore Stars. They're burning this motherfucker to the ground.
I see a lot of the 1915 Chicago Whales in them.
I think of them as the 1985 series Transformers: lots of Dinobots, but also too many Insecticons.

So next year Anthony Rizzo is going to be callously murdered for marketing purposes?

This is Year Two of contention, and whereas the origin story Year One, the 2015 Cubs, were a smash hit that took the world by storm, Year Two has tried to top it in every way and has gone way over the top. Awesome early stuff (25-6 start, woah this first issue is illustrated by Todd McFarlane), and now we're into some weird and depressing things. Why is Batman/Joe Maddon betraying everything he believes in by using a gun/Joel Peralta?

Or Dan Vogelbach's purposes.

I think they're more like the 1972 Olga Korbut.
Beautiful little car. I saw one advertised in the Chronicle about two months ago. They stopped making them in the late '70s.
