Definitely spotted a dude in a John Scott jersey at the UC tonight.

Black alternate (non-throwback).

In the press box?

This guy was really short. Like 6 foot 2.

That's about how tall Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose is.

Speaking of Derrick Rose, it's awesome to see him getting to the free throw line more often.  He's averaging a Dwayne Wade-ian 9.3 attempts in January so far, which is huge for his development.

He's a helluva basketball player, that's for sure.  Big game for Purdue coming up against the Gophers.  Should be fun to watch.

Yeah, but is he hitting those free throws? The Bulls can't win if they don't hit those free throws, man.

Two missed freethrows count the same as a missed dunk.

Yeah, he's humoring the Ape so that we can talk about the Bulls without him getting asshurt.  With the Heat coming to town this weekend (maybe no LeBron?) it's Luol Deng's time to shine.

I thought he was dicking with Fork by talking about something even less-relevant to Hawks Hockee than the Bulls in this thread. This is in response to Fork's Toews boner poking out in the Insignificance Thread.

The Heat vs. Bulls in a random regular season NBA game vs. anything you could possibly do besides watch a Big Ten Game? Unimportant.

Battling with a bajillion teams for the last couple playoff spots...this feels like 2007/2008, only then it was fun because they were a young team on the rise.  This...this is somewhat excrutiating.
Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

Motherfucker.

Felt like OT was the probable outcome but a couple of bad calls timed with Luongo playing unbelievable hockey equals a loss. The Sedins are creeps but those creeps can skate.

I felt the Hawks outplayed the Canucks up and down the ice all game long.

And, against a team like that, with such a small margin of error, those bad calls were enough to hose them in an otherwise great hockey game.

Mostly I'm just pissed that, of all teams, it's that gang of mincing dickholes and their swollen-headed pepsi of a coach walking out with both points the Hawks earned (even if losing points to Vancouver in particular means little in practical terms at this point).
