Bump for a HR that reminded me of Sosa at the Home Run Derby in Beertown.
Andre Dawson paid his $1,000 fine for the Joe West incident with style. Dawson wrote ``Donation for the blind`` in the memo section of his personal check.

Injured by his own teammate.  In case you're counting, that's TWO celebration-related injuries on the season.

There aren't words to describe the level of stupidity it takes to continue rooting for this franchise.

The article didn't mention it, but I'm assuming Guzman's right arm tore off?

Isn't that why they shut him down to begin with? Or was that Harden? I can't remember.

I thought Harden shut himself down, under advisement from from Derrek Bell.

BUMP. How has this been dormant all year? He's been in a mini-slump but a good April overall.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

His .687 OPS at Iowa has lulled the entire league into a false sense of security. The Cubs will string along around .500 until the All Star Break, at which point they reveal the 50 Theriot Roster. They form into a Voltron like being which MICHAWH HOUFPOAEER pilots.

Of course he's not hitting in Iowa, the kid already proved he can hit in the majors, and now the Cubs send him down and wreck his confidence, instead of doing the smart thing and trading
Lee to open up a spot for him.  Another 30 year old prospect, ruined.

Nice choice, Jim.

Off topic, but it's my site so go screw.

The Brewers had just come off a three gamer in Pissburgh where they outscored the Pirates 36-1.  Then they came home and dumped three to the Cubs 25-4.  I can't wait for the Cubs to hang 40 on the Pirates May 4.

Who needs Turdthrow when you've got LaBlow. Also: Dave Bush, Jeff Suppan, Doug Davis and Randy Wolfe? How many fifth starters do they need to roster?
