Why are they comparing totally random, unrelated days?

Because the Cardinals are the bestest team everest if you only count the games they win.

The Cubs also gave up almost half as many runs on those random, unrelated days.

I usually do not engage him but I did respond with:

Cubs 5-1, Cardinals 3-3
Cubs 42 runs, Cardinals 38
Cubs 15 runs allowed, Cardinals 28
Cubs team batting average: .282, Cardinals .242
But you guys do lead the majors in errors, so kudos.

Enjoy his dumb trolling while it lasts. I have a feeling that he's going to go silent as the season progresses.

You might also want to bring up the fact that the Braves couldn't play .500 ball in the Southern League.

Yeah if I were a Cardinals fan the only takeaway of any importance from that series is that Adam Wainwright still looks like warmed over dogshit.

I mean, Lackey is anywhere from our 3rd-5th starter. His success is nowhere near as vital to the Cubs as Wainwright is to the Cardinals, since they were depending on him being vintage Wainwright in order to make up for losing Lackey and his 2.77 ERA last year.

Is no one else jacked for this series? Yes, it's April. Yes, it's just another series out of many. Yes, the Cubes just dropped a series to Colorado. But it's still the shit-ass Kyardnulls. I want fucking blood, damn it. Sweep sweep sweep. I want multi-HR games from Heyward and a no-hitter for the "trader" mouthbreather. Let's do this.
You two wanna go stick your wangs in a hornet's nest, it's a free country.  But how come I always gotta get sloppy seconds, huh?
