Title: 22 Jump Street
Post by: CBStew on July 06, 2014, 10:28:02 AM
Guilty pleasure.  This movie is loaded with laughs.  Some of the attempts at jokes don't work, but you don't fret those since the next one works.  There is also a gutty poke at the "buddy" movie genre, suggesting that it may really have a homosexual motivation.   (Hmm.  Mel Gibson and Danny Glover?  Stranger things have happened.)  STAY FOR THE CLOSING CREDITS. This movie is a sequel to "21 Jump Street", which ended with one of the characters promising a sequel.  The closing credits are funnier than the movie, promising sequels well into the next century.

It's great. Just like the first one.

I hope the credits means they're done. But Channing Tatum is my favorite comedy action guy now.

It was really good. The first one was fantastic, too. But I'm with you guys, I hope they're done.
