Thought this needed a thread. They've basically been playing great defense all year, but lately it seems as if everyone's making highlight-reel plays in the field. Contreras with a couple great grabs as well as Szczur and Coghlan the past few days. Baez/Russell basically all the time. Bryant/Rizzo have had their fair share, and even Zo on the diving stop to start the DP today. And let's not forget the hitless wonder Heyward who has at least been as advertised in the field.

Why the fuck would Joe put this continually inept asshole in a tie game in the 8th? He's been shit all year and has really done nothing positive. I knew as soon as I saw Richard's bitch ass come in for the 8th he'd shit himself. Him and the offense wasted another good start for Arrieta.

I'm reading one of Eddings series for prob the 5th or 6th time, as I'm really just not sure about most of what I see at Borders or Barnes & Nobles. Any suggestions short of the most obvious Tolkien stuff?
