OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

First and second still one out. My hope is that the Brewers have gone to their set up men and closers too often lately. I know they all threw last night. And Augie Ojeda is pinch running. An omen!

Two outs...I don't think Arizona cares. Every time I turn on the game they strike out.

Watching the Brewers-DBags...3-2 Milwaukee, top 8, runner on second for the Backs...COME ON.

Back to the pitchout - between that & the squeeze play vs. the Sox, that's two games Piniella won lately.

I'd forgotten what it was like to see the Cubs' manager win a game. awake during a game.

Dude'd

Dusty wasn't asleep during the game.  He just couldn't see the field from the dugout, so he couldn't really do anything strategic like that.  I'm not sure how Lou does it.  He must have some secret method, like standing up occassionally or something.

Now if we could get him to clap some more.

And thanks for the advice Fork and Dead Wrestler/Comedian/Sex Panther.

I'm going to stay in this thread.

Remember when we were making fun of the pythagorean champions of the world? Yeah baby.

Slak, 1922?  Did you miss it, or are you going for something else?

I don't really know...I'm tired of creating new email addresses.

So use the same one.  D'uh.

Can you do that? it won't let me.

Sheets on the DL.

And their bullpen gets infinitely shittier with Yanni going back to the rotation. Balls.

Let's continue to positive by pointing out that the Padres are 2-10 in games Michael Barrett has started.

You're asking for it.

So true. But if yesterday's game means that opponents can't call up every piece of shit AAAA lefty on the 40-man to shut down the Cubs' lineup for 6+ than color me a shade gheyer for this group of men than I was at at 2:20 ET yesterday.

Even though Wendy did shut out the Mets his last time out, your point is noted. And gheyed.

Quote"The fans have been unbelievable," DeRosa said. "And as good as they've been, that's how hard they rode us early on, and rightfully so. We deserved it at that time. I really get a kick out of the signs like 'It's Gonna Happen.'

"Hopefully we buy into that. I know a lot of guys think something special is going on right now, and we're just trying to ride it out."

I wish I could get to it from work...I'll get it and post it from home tonight. Dennis has a bandaid on his head...hysterical. I can only guess what he fell and cracked his skull on after one too many whiskey sours.

Billy Zabka!

I'm sorry for the reply now, but the fact is I rarely click on this thread because I don't have volume on my work computer.  My thinking is I'll check it when I'm home but then I just end up letting them stockpile.

I thought this was pretty hilarious, if awfully weird.

I had wondered what happened to that guy.  He totally had that one role down pat--the "asshole, sorta privaleged young white punk".  Not only did he play that role in "Karate Kid", but also "Just One Of The Guys" (where those of us who were in our teens were floored by Joyce Heyser's mazamazboombahs) and then Rodney's "Back To School".  He was the same asshole in all 3.  And then he disappeared.

I like also how they mixed in "Raising Arizona".  He does a pretty god Hi.

And am I being totally obvious by mentioning the Ask A Ninja?

Edited to point out that a quick  search on IMDB reveals that Bill Zabka not only didn't disappear, but actually got an Oscar nomination for a short film in 2003.  Christ on a bike.

Well damn it all.

I had the opportunity to hang out with Dennis Haskins recently. I asked him about his appearance on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, but totally forgot about Zabka's opus here.

I'd kind of like to know what it was like to work with Matt Clement.

My brother has hung out with him two years in a row, some good pictures from those meetings. The guy looks terrible, but maybe you know him. Is everything going alright for him? I guess he's good friends with Jim Kelly since he's always at the guy's summer charity ball. And he's always hammered.
