RE: Huet and his meatball torch-bearing haters - finding it exceedingly difficult to have any amount of confidence in him right now. I would have considered myself a staunch defender of Cristobal but right now he makes me a little ill. The 2nd period had that feel that everything was going to get past him.

I'm not worried, just annoyed. Hawks vs. Kings on Wednesday should be another huge test and I'm sure most people don't realize how good the Kings are this year. I'm excited for the return of Burish, too.

Even Jeremy Roenick says the Blackhawks probably won't win because of Huet. He isn't the best analysis out there but he knows a lot more about hockey than I do.

You can round up every "expert" of JR's caliber, and none of them will say there's a team in the NHL who has all the necessary components to win the Stanley Cup.

Certainly not because of, but it's entirely plausible that they can win it in spite of it.  Look at Fleury's numbers or, for that matter, Chris Osgood.  A lockdown goalie would be nice but it'd be even nicer if half the team didn't play with their heads up their asses like they did in Sunday's second period.
