OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

This does make three consecutive Cubs postseason series that were over with games still left to be played. That's quite impressive. It's a Cubs thing. And I'm not being sarcastic, the time of death could be called on each of the last three series at-

'03 - Bartman and the immediate aftermath

'07 - Lou pulls Z, Marmol immediately serves it up

'08 - Dempster gives up a 2-out grand slam on a 1-2 count

Assholes.

This piece of shit. I'm sure he or others would defend him by saying he 'only' gave up 3, and that the team didn't hit, but there's a reason he never wins a lot of games, and it's that it's deflating to his teammates to see this retard out there on the mound. Cubs win 5 in a row, Brewers lose 5 in a row, Sheets has all the pressure in the world on him (and would eventually cave in, in his way), Cubs need only to win the last two games to clinch, so naturally Marquis goes out and gives up 3 runs before getting an out. Then he 'settles down'. What a faggot this guy is. Playoffs can't come soon enough, get this asshole off the field.

Also if you look at his gamelogs Harang has an inexplicably good start on June 13 against boston. The rest of his starts since the relief appearance he's gotten knocked around. Not sure what happened there.

That Harang story is actually really sad. He wasn't one of these Prior types he was someone not supposed to be especially good who blossomed into an almost Zambrano-level pitcher, and then this douchebag ruins him in his first two months managing the team.

It's still annoying that they're even competing with that shitty roster. How Rick Ankiel ever gets a hittable pitch is beyond me. Fucker has a huge hole in his swing. Z found it immediately, apparently the Tigers don't have scouts.
#6
I think tomorrow he'll begin shrewdly investing his baseball money.

I like the Chacon story. He's probably poison now and like he fears won't get signed anyplace, but I actually think his side sounds pretty plausible. Don't cuss at a black Alaskan when he's trying to eat, Ed Wade.

They are grasping at any positive straw they can right now and if all they have is AJ being a player they can't replace, let 'em have it.  It's not like Jermaine Dye is hitting the ball again....oh wait.  I mean we all know that no one can run on AJ and his wrestling belt....oh wait.

Joe Morgan said repeatedly that Jermaine Dye is a strong bet for MVP of the AL.

Somewhere in Arlington, Josh Hamilton ties off and laughs.

That's because Dye is black and Hamilton is white. Morgan never touts white players, only blacks and Hispanics.

See: last night when he mentioned the retired numbers/ flags at Wrigley and conspicuously failed to mention either Santo or Sandberg (naming only Banks and Williams, then pretending to trail off).

Why would you watch even one Tulane game? What possible reason?

Also, to your earlier post, the draftniks on Rivals in their little summary said he might start immediately. If your starting running back sucks and you spend a mid second round pick on a running back, he better start.

I like the potential of the pick. He isn't going to help immediately like Mendenhall would've, but Forte has a lot of natural ability and talent.

Watch a lot of Tulane games, do you?

This didn't take long.

MILWAUKEE PITCHER BEN SHEETS LEFT THE GAME IN THE TOP OF THE SIXTH INNING DUE TO A STRAINED RIGHT TRICEPS.

You're all really dumb. I did enjoy Apex's recent post about what a loser he was in high school.
