OK A-holes. It's fixed. Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them. I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I am enjoying all of these very good bullpens getting torched after a month of overuse after guys like Brian Kenny spent the first part of the playoffs splooging over THE BULLPEN REVOLUTION and the death of the starting pitcher. You should never rely on baseball tradition as a guide because sometimes we've just done stupid shit for a long time for no reason other than we've been doing it a long time, but the reason the game evolved towards starters going 6+ whenever possible and relievers sticking to 1 inning at a time is maybe because relievers are relievers because, generally, they weren't good enough to start? And the more they pitch the more likely they are to get exposed?

...I miss the Cubs already. Hurry up, Opening Day.
Yeah, this. I've had my offseason, recharged my batteries, and now I'm ready to go again.
Stop torturing yourselves, fellas. Offseason's going to feel a lot longer than last year's.
It's going to go by fast. They all go by fast. It sometimes feels like life is a constantly accelerating car, speeding toward a wall.
Offseasons are usually hell for me--regardless of how the team has done. Last year was a true exception not only because the season ended a good month longer than we were used to, but because I was able to live off of what they did during those cold, baseball-less winter months. It was the first year I wasn't anxious at all until they had actually reported in Mesa and started playing. I suppose I can still occupy my mind by luxuriating in what the Cubs have done for the past 3 years running--an unprecedented run for us--but I fear I'll still be climbing the walls in 2 month--when we'll still be 2 months from pitchers and catchers reporting. At least the Bears might be interesting for a mother week or 3.

The answer to the question is "no." That's "no."
You don't say.

...I still like Bryce Harper. Sean Doolittle is also ok. The rest of their team can go fuck themselves.
Upon further review, Max Scherzer and Stephen Strasburg are also acceptable.
I like that albino dipshit Adam Lind because he bailed out a struggling Wade Davis by grounding into a first pitch DP.
Really liked how that broke up the Ernie Johnson narrative on how great Adam Lind is.

Can't argue with Heaven on 7, but avoid the chicken fried steak if you don't want to sleep through the show.
Kilwins just opened on Michigan Avenue (310S, south of Symphony Center) if you are looking for candy or ice cream. Unfortunately, Black Dog Gelato is closed Saturday's.
For good food in a pretty loud place.. there is always the Publican over on Fulton Market (a longish walk but a short cab/uber from the theater). If you want something different, Chinatown is like 3-4 redline stops south. MingHin and the Phoenix is the hawk family's standard haunts.
I can vouch for the Phoenix, having been taken there by Hawk - try the chicken feet, they're fucking revolting! If you're going head down to Chinatown, though, you might as well go to Ricobene's. Fuck sake. What a sammich.
Bridgeport ain't Chinatown, hoss.
If you're going to Chinatown, maybe eat Chinese food?
CHINESE FOOD MAKES ME SICK
AND I THINK IT'S FLY WHEN GIRLS STOP BY FOR THE SUMMER
(for the summer)

I'D TAKE HER IF I HAD ONE WISH
