OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

You morans looking to pick up some swipes can offer me an OF with pop for Shane Victorino. I'm thinking along the lines of 30 HR for 50 SBs.

Irish need not apply.

Who'd you be sending along with Victorino?

A winner could be you because you can both acquire him and keep all your white guys.

So, Yahoo's live StatTracker is neat and all, but after these first two weeks of the season they seem to expect you to pay for it.

Over at HJE today, though, SD mentioned a free Firefox script for the Yahoo leagues that serves to duplicate most of its functionality. I'm assuming he's talking about this one:

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/5143

This can fetch you live stat lines for all active players on any roster in the league.

It seems to do fit the bill for the Desipio League perfectly.

It's a bit less useful for the Neifi League, as it only details H/AB, R, HR, RBI, SB, AVG, OPS, IP, W, L, S, K, ERA and WHIP.

I've had the Stattracker and the Firefox thing.  I went with the Stat-tracker thing this year.  It's worth it.

The Greasemonkey script in question just gives you the live day-of stats of the roster you launched it from, including individual lines and team totals.

It doesn't give you live head-to-head comparison against your opponent, cumulative totals for the week, or an around-the-league scoreboard. I also now notice it also doesn't include holds, so scratch that "perfectly" from above.

For the time being, though, it's primarily the live stat lines that I'm interested in, personally. But I can see the appeal of the other stuff.

This deserves to be seen by all of Desipio:

QuoteUtterly unacceptable performance from my team
by: bricrozier (BC Bombers)   Apr 6 7:42pm

What a f***ing disgrace. My players have played like s*** this week. This is honestly the most upset I have been in months. My f***ing pitching has to step it up, it was a disaster most of the week. My offense was OK, I need some more power production however. I just am beyond d*** embarassed at how this team performed this week. I don't want to go Elia on them, but these pitchers better d*** stop pitching like s***. I am just p***ed off by this excuse of a fantasy baseball team.

"This is honestly the most upset I have been in months."

I think this is what you get for putting so much stock in relief pitchers who had all but unrepeatable career seasons last year, and drafting nothing but SP and OF until the 8th round.

That said... It was only Week 1, Brian.

A follow up:

QuoteF***ing Valverde...
by: bricrozier (BC Bombers)   Apr 7 8:16pm

Costing me a Wandy Rodriguez win. Son of a b****. Go back to whatever d*** country you came from.

I'm going to go ahead and assume the censored words above were "feeding", "bacon" and "dago".

BC's just spotting us a few games to make this a fair race down the stretch.  I'm sure that's all this is about...all part of the plan.

Pwnd is what JD did to us in the Bracket Challenge.

Seriously, he did eveything but apply lipstick and force us all to squeal.

Georgia and Arkansas are totally different places.

Or so I've been told.

They are.  Here in Arkansas, we don't make ya squeal or put on lipstick.  We don't even enjoy it.  We're just in ya to show ya who's boss.
