BC got in. Sorry, Gil.  There's always next year.  Or 2 years ago when we let everyone in.

Members(you know who you are):

Start talking.  We gotta figure out the keeper thing.  Put in your suggestions and I'll make a pole this weekend.  Then I'll make a poll for votin'.  If you wanna gripe aboot anything else, then we can discuss changin' other stuff, too.  Palabra jot.  You have 2 days.

C'est la vie.
This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

I've never done a keeper league, so whatever the opposite of Tdumbs wants is fine with me.

What's the standard number of keepers? Three?

What if we used Big Drinky's suggestion and put NO CAP on keepers?  What then?

What hai if you want to keep a guy who was undrafted at the beginning of the season? Where's he slotted?

Would this mean you can only have one undrafted keeper?

Or that, if you keep two, they would be 12th and 13th?

How shitty is your little faggy league where one team was able to pick up two awesome players in free agency?

What a crappy league.  Full of crap.  This league is.

Maude'd.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

I didn't play, but if it isn't a league where you draft and have space for minor league players, there's always
going to be a few situations where you picked up some rookie that you would happily keep for a 13th round
slot.

This is true. I like the Cubs. I haven't had a Cardinal or Astro on any of my teams since 2005 when I traded for Clemens in August and then didn't keep him. I'd rather root for the Cubs and lose than have players on my team I can't stand. So I'm quitting fantasy. Fuck it.

Or maybe it's a normal league that just didn't see anyone prescient enough to draft guys like Aaron Hill, Ben Zobrist or Kendry Morales.

Or maybe someone snagged a great mid-season call-up. Wieters and Hanson were both drafted straight-up, but there were still a few undrafted 2009 rookie standouts who project to be taken in the higher rounds this year. Say, an Andrew McCutchen or an Andrew Bailey.

I've never had a Card on my team.  I sucked in this league last year, but I usually don't.
