Not only has Chuck come up with the shittest Dead Pool thread title for quite some time, but the SF Chronicle has now removed all trace of the original article, so I'm guessing Kim's not even dead. I can only imagine how relieved he must be.
I vaguely remembered his amusingly-named website "WK's Coach's Box (http://www.wk20.com/)," which is no longer so amusing:

I always assumed his nickname was "Wavin' Wendell" as in he "waved" people home, and didn't "waive them" as in terminate their contract.
