I'm just please to know that smg still lurks.

She can't resist Prior or Wood news.

I'm pretty sure she's just hanging on for news that the Cubs' resigned Todd Walker.

Who isn't?

And, I'm fairly certain that they would've found the tear sooner if it had been a direct result of the Giles incident (and look at the wonders it did for the littlest Giles' career).  It's not like this is the first time they've gone in and looked around in his shoulder.  That thing has been opened up more than Paris Hilton's legs.

I thought his first scope was last year.

It was. That was when they found all the stuff the Cubs' crack medical staff could never seem to locate.

Yeah, I was engaging in a bit of puffery (no ghey stuff though).  His shoulder has received countless MRIs and goings over by everyone's favorite Dr.
Alright ,uh, later dudes, S you in your A's, dont wear a C, and J all over your B's.

I don't care what they find in his shoulder. I don't care if he really was hurt all this time. I still think he's a vagina.

It makes my turd touch my underpants, if that's what you meant.

We used the photo in that article for a caption competition on the SB the other day.  I was quite pleased with my entry :

Bump.

Mark Prior reported feeling pain in his shoulder after a bullpen session Tuesday at the Padres' spring training complex.
San Diego manager Bud Black said Thursday that Prior might have "to take a step back" after reporting the soreness following his side session in Peoria.

If he takes one more step back he'll be officially back in the womb.

I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

No it shouldn't.

I agree.

That's a tremendous insult to pudding.

Sigh.

He's gone from being the next Tom Seaver to the next Ben Sheets?

Some guys have all the luck.

Former Cubs pitcher Mark Prior,  out of baseball after leaving the San Diego Padres organization a year ago, recently started throwing again in hopes of one more comeback.

But we hear that he recently took a line drive off of his pitching shoulder while throwing batting practice to a local team. He was shut down for three weeks although the injury is not considered serious.

I'm beginning to get the impression that my intuition that Prior was Tom House-constructed robot who never actually wanted to play baseball may have been a tad off the mark.
