The Yankees couldn't get one free agent pitcher who was on the Rangers' payroll this year, so they got another.

What a happy match.

Too bad they didn't exercise Kerry's option.

Phil Rogers says they want to re-sign Kerry, and they want to trade for Zambrano.  What does it mean if the Yankees want the Cubs 2003 rotation?

Arrrgh!

Anybody here notice the Yankees are turning into the 2003 Cubs?

Who here's read this awesome blog? http://www.kellysux.wordpress.com ?

We've ALL seen that, thanks to CT's sleuthing prowess.

Oh, had CT posted that somewhere already? I don't want to take credit for his find. Good work, CT!

Not that I remotely took offense to the original comment (and actually amended my post once I saw the other thread), but you would be amazed at how few people are taking it even slightly easy on me, even when said people know I am having a baby in 6 days and 20 hours.  Apparently, it really is impossible get a break.

You think it's tough now? Wait until you have a screaming baby who doesn't know of an unreasonable request at 2:45 AM.

Good luck on the baby, in all seriousness!

Thanks!  I guess I was just expecting slightly more evolved behavior from family, colleagues and mortgage brokers than from an infant.  Although now that I put it that way, I'm seeing that my expectations were probably just too high.

Is it possible that we get a babycast from the bed? I mean, others have casted all sorts of shit for us (PenFoe). Or maybe send a blanket invite and we will all smoke a cragar in the waiting room in Kerry Ryne's honor
