Just a sloppy, undisciplined team.  Garbage.

Well, that didn't work: http://espn.go.com/general/blogs/blogpost?blogname=bostonred-sox&id=21980&city=boston

Well, that didn't work.

Fixed: http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/red-sox/post/_/id/21980/sox-release-ex-cub-prior

The Reds should sign Mark Prior so he can retire as a Red. But not before he gets a chance to great his "new" manager with an axe.

Ta Da!

I have no words.

Quote from: Cincinnati.com
"Ironically, Baker is often blamed for Prior's injury. Prior went 18-6 with a 2.43 ERA and threw 233 innings (including playoffs) as a 22-year-old for the Chicago Cubs when Baker was the manager.

"They always want to blame somebody," Baker said. "It's usually someone [who needlessly beat the living piss out of a young phenom's arm until it finally gave under the strain.  You know, somebody who repeatedly sent the 22-year-old future of the franchise out for 130-pitch outings in blowouts, that sort of thing]."

Fuck.  FUCK.  I swear to God, if I ever meet Dusty there will be nothing and nobody that will be able to stop me kicking him in the balls as hard as I can, because that's what he did - over and over again - to each and every one of us.  Fucking cunt.

I don't have a clue what kind of person Mark Prior is today, let alone what he was like 10 years ago.  But few people deserve what happened to his potential career.  I guess that the new "Butthurt" thread is where we should talk about Baker and Prior.
If I had known that I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.   (Plagerized from numerous other folks)

I expect Dusty to just start Prior on Opening Day and then force him to throw every Reds inning until his arm flies off his torso.

Which will be a totally unforeseeable injury.  They always want to blame somebody.

Prior should get the call-up when Aroldis Chapman goes on the 60-day DL. So... May?
