Flann O'Brien - anyone read this one? Fucking weird ass book. Almost done with it but I can see why they included it in an episode of Lost.
I haven't read the first two yet.
I read this about twenty years ago, and sort of enjoyed it - but you're right, it's pretty absurd, and I certainly wouldn't read it again.

It was strange how the prologue basically explained in no uncertain terms what I had just read. No open ends, there.
