So fruit type beers = suck

In Germany, it isn't uncommon to put cola in a dunkelweiss.. I tried it, it was alright. Wasn't as good as the dunkelweiss by itself,
which was outstanding.

Dogfish Head makes a berlinerweiss called Festina Peche. It's made with peaches. It's tart as hell and I quite like it.

See?  And he doesn't care who knows it.

They used to have it on tap at Silver Cloud - easily one of my favorite bars in Bucktown - and then one day this summer I went in and asked for it. They said they got rid of it and told me I was the only one that liked it. Goddamn you to hell, Bucktown.

I'm drinking some good old Bell's Amber right now. Nothing fancy or gourmet about it. It just tastes delicious and gets mee drinkin!

Bell's is a really solid brewery - I'm a big fan of the Two Hearted and the Kalamazoo Stout is a good find too.

Haven't had Hopslam b/c I can't get it here, but would love to give it a whirl.

I'm pretty sure I had it at Sheffield's, but only had it after Mrs. Butthead ordered one. So that probably doesn't help the argument for drinking fruity beers.

Hey Slak, at the Whole Foods here in North Scottsdale, you can get 4-packs of Festina Peche, right next to the 6-packs of DFH's Aprihop.

You fucking homo.

New Belgium's Frambozen (a raspberry brown ale) is actually a rather drinkable winter brew, as long as you stop after one of them.
