A new show I found Comedy Central running a "sneak preview" of when I was flipping around after Lights Out last night.
It was pretty brilliant.

I will watch this.
I've always wanted to see an Office Space type with unmotivated people who hate their bosses and jobs but are too pussy to quit and do something fun. At the same time there'd be no love interest or anything to drag the movie down.
Hopefully this show fills that void. Though it looks a little over the top.
I watched this show last night and liked it. Has anyone heard of it before?

I have but I keep forgetting to DVR it.

It doesn't really fill that void, and it is a little over the top. It's also pretty funny.
I saw it last week, not bad.

Never heard of it.
Metabutthurt out of the way, I've caught a few episodes when I've manage to remember.
It's got a bit of a
Sunny feel to it, although I wouldn't say it's as good. More in the neighborhood of past Comedy Central shows like
Dog Bites Man or
Stella that I enjoyed but didn't watch religiously and that got canceled after one season.
This one flirts with brilliance, though: the "Boy Scout Rule of Ds," the Catherine Zeta-Jones song (ooh ooh-ooh), pretty much the entire sneak preview from two months ago. And so far I've seen guest spots by Clint Howard and Mark Summers. That's A-List.
Blake is legitimately hilarious, as is the guys' co-worker Montez. That fat blond chick is a perfectly-cast office fat chick.
Plus: according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Workaholics), one of the main writers is ex-FJM (the guy who doesn't write for the Office and/or Parks & Rec).
I'm calling it: a solid B+!!!
I feel like, if you're gonna watch just one episode of this show, last night's might be the one to pick.

Oh, good - I finally remembered to set up the recording.

Season 2 apparently premiers September 20.

Awesome. This show is fantastic. Side note: my little bror met Adam out in Vegas. He was there for Ders' bachelor party.
And that's a Seven Mary Three name check.
THEY CALLED ME "THE DAD RUINER" IN HIGH SCHOOL!
"Shakespeare was a smart dude. He was the president of Rome."
Also: FRANK LAPIDUS.
"Smoovies"?
