Looks like a Marquis-Dempster match-up in Coors Saturday.

Sounds like a really Marquee Matchup.
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

Real funny, PenFork.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

Stoney loves him some Jason Marquis.
I assume it's an MOT thing.

Thank God the Cubs won't have to face Scott Rolen tonight.

I'm sure Marmol could pull it off if he aimed right for it.

Bump.

http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2009/12/nationals-to-sign-jason-marquis.html

"The Nationals will sign Jason Marquis, according to MASN.  It's a two-year deal, according to MLB Network's Hazel Mae.  The Phillies and Mets were other clubs reportedly in the mix for the 31-year-old righty.  Back on December 15th, Marquis explained to MLB.com's Bill Ladson that he found the ability to mentor the Nats' young pitching staff appealing.

Marquis racked up 216 innings for the Rockies this year with a 4.04 ERA, 4.8 K/9, 3.3 BB/9, and 55.6% groundball rate."
