So I just bought the entire set of Teh Office BBC version. Almost done with Season One. I like.

David Brent is one of my favorite TV characters of all time (Gob and Buster Bluth being right up there with him).  My only complaint about the BBC version is that there are times when I have to rewind 5 or 6 times to figure out what they hell they're saying.  Generally, it's totally worth it.

One thing the American version has on the BBC version is the secondary characters.  Creed, Kevin, Brian, Kelly, and Darrell are all outstanding.  The BBC version didn't really flesh out their secondary characters too much.

Keith and his scotch eggs get me every time, but spot on.

Is THAT what those are?  I thought he was eating a sponge.

Same difference really

Oi, oi!!  You take that back.

Heh, I knew this was coming.  Maybe its because the only Scotch Eggs I had were from Tesco with had a twinkie like shelf life, but, like Marmite, it was somthing I just could not get into.

Et tu, Hawk?

First Scotch eggs, now Tesco?  Perhaps you'd like to slag off my Mother while you're at it?

Oh, and don't even get me started on Marmite.  People who don't like Marmite will be first against the wall when the Revolution comes.

If nothing else in the episode would have happened other than Creed walking into the women's room with headphones and a surprised look, I would have still been satisfied.

Stanley, if you have a problem with that, then go to the back of the bus.

Andy falling into the water and floating away from the shore was probably my favorite moment of the entire season.

Not much.  The last, 40-second act was from earlier in the day when they were on the bus, and they were singing "The Flinstones" a la John Candy in "Planes, Trains & Automobiles"

Excuse me?

Few other nuggets of awesomeness:

Creed plucking a live fish out of the water.  Now that we know he was once homeless, this makes sense.

Stanley getting his game on when he found out what was at stake.

Dwight going down on his hands and knees on the hot coals.

Kelly doesn't know who Bob Hope is, and thinks Amanda Bynes is a comedian.

And poor, poor Tobey.  He was actually in rare excited form before Michael told him he couldn't go to the beach.

Not the best episode, but still plenty of laughs.

I think we all felt Toby's pain, never getting to see Pam in a 2-piece.

Meh, Pam in less than usual amounts of clothing is old news if one has seen Blades of Glory.
