Looking forward to seeing if any major outlets have the balls not to give Kanye the #1 spot

Update: Pitchfork just put out readers poll results for Best Album, Most Overrated Album, and Most Underrated Album -- but we're still looking for an outlet to not give Kanye the #1 spot because he's atop all three.

Everyone who reads Pitchfork is BC?

Yea, what the fuck?

Also, this makes me not want to listen to Kanye's album... Even though I haven't really felt the urge to this point, anyway.

Any of you sacks of crap ever listen to The Black Angels?

http://theblackangels.com/

If I've just asked if you've ever seen snow before, I apologize for my lack of whiteness. If you're not listening to them and you like rock music that doesn't sound like somebody took a box of knives and shook them up inside your skull, fuck with these guys.

Shouldn't you be working on new stuff for "Chozen"?

Ha are you serious. I've seen them a bunch of times and evangelized their first two albums to most people. Their last two have been weak comparatively speaking but I have their tour posters framed on my walls and shit. I am a big fan.

Their drummer is very attractive.

Their first two albums are mostly like this song in that you basically feel like you're holed up in a Vietnamese jungle with a handful of hallucinogenics and a grease painted face waiting for Charlie to skin you alive.

I heard the "Young Dead Men" track at the end of "True Detective" and decided to check them out. I really like The Doors and Led Zep so I was into them from the start. I bought their first album today and just listened to all of it. That's as far as I've gotten. They remind me of stuff some of the cooler white kids in Buttpuddle would listen to while we drove around in the country getting zooted out of our gourds. They put me on to some stuff. I figured these guys were already everywhere if I knew about them. Like, dude, have you ever heard of "Moss Deff?"

But what if I prefer rock music that sounds like somebody took a box of knives and shook them up inside my skull?
