Ate here this past week, good deal on Red Stripe. Went there thinking the food would be average at best,
came away thoroughly impressed. Great jerk chicken, waffle fries, etc.

Their mac n' cheese was one of the best I've had. If you're in ukrainian village, it's worth stopping by.

New season started on Sunday. Vince, trying to look tough and doing his stunts, ends up looking like a nancy.
Turtle now runs a car driving business now? This adds nothing. Although the gals that work for him are hot as dick.
E is still an annoying jerkoff. And now he's engaged. Yay.
Ari and Drama are the only ones worth watching.

Finally had breakfast at Old Oak Tap. Killer bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. Not crowded.
For a place to eat within walking distance of my house, it gets 2 fat thumbs up.
Great beer. And breakfast. Yes please.

Another reality show (ghey) on the History channel about sharpshooters using different weapons (not ghey) with different backgrounds competing for $100k. Two episodes in, pretty interesting challenges. 

Not sure how one becomes proficient at shooting pre-WWI weapons without knowing how to shoot a modern weapon, but one guy on the show is. Assuming breaking into this guys house means walking into a musketoon.

I'm hoping at the finally they all shoot each other and the crew.

Independent movie with Casey Affleck, kate hudson and jessica alba..  based off the novel from jim thompson.

Affleck plays a west texas deputy sheriff in the 50's who turns out to be a psycho killer. Jessica Alba is a prostitute.
Really violent. Disturbing. The sechsual assault scenes are difficult to watch. 
Casey Aflleck played a really convincing psychopath.

Would make for a great first date movie, think Miss Congeniality with more grit.

Best pizza I've had in Chicago. Lots of sauce. Great crust. They don't overdo the cheese. Perfect.

This one tops my list. Love this venue in the summer.

Found this tonight, incredible live studio sessions with the avett brothers, limbeck, etc for free download..

New series on HBO. Produced by Mark Wahlberg.  Bryan Greenburg is the main character. Think entourage in New York, only with clothing, not movies..  and without much of a plot so far. Luis Guzman is great, peddling his energy drink. The credits are really well done. Want to say this show has potential. Stay tuned.

Any of you know any good bars in Chicago showing the Pacquiao fight tomorrow? Preferably in Wicker Park area.

New Argentinian steak house on Division. Cool place. Food sucked. Surprisingly bad meat for a steakhouse. Las Tablas is a ton better (even if I prefer their old place over the new remodeled restaurant).

Since I bitched to comcast, I now get Starz for free. This is a new series, only 3 episodes so far. Lots of good fight scenes, cool matrix like camera shots and lots of hot nude women.

Anyone else watching this show?

Can someone explain to me why anyone would want the new iPad? It's just a larger iPhone, unless I'm missing something.

I hate Comcast.  Constantly having to call to bitch about rate increases to get them to lower it has driven me crazy since I've been in Chicago. Although ATT's website says Uverse isn't supported in my area (wicker park), when I called them they said they could. It's
a ton cheaper than comcast, for more channels, etc.

Just found out with ATTs DVR, you can record 4 shows at a time and can change recordings online.

Anyone in the city using uverse? Thoughts?
