When Fontenot and Fukudome ride the pine, it's long ball time.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015

You're just butthurt because everyone's sick of your midget alumni forming a black hole of suck in the middle infield.

Definitely the first time this year that has been an issue.

I've seen enough Jeff Baker over three months of baseball to know I'd like to see him on the field pretty much every day at this point.    Statistically, from a fielding perspective (the part I wasn't sure about), he's pretty average as an IF.

Sumbitch sure looks like he can hit.

"Cubs GM Jim Hendry dismissed a report that said his team has considered releasing Alfonso Soriano and eating the nearly $90 million he's still owed.

Asked the question by Jim Memolo on Sirius XM, Hendry replied: "Never been a thought to it, Jimmy. Never been a thought to it. No. Those things are speculated by probably people in your profession, not ours." Of course, it's a ridiculous thought that the Cubs would release Soriano now.

What does that have to do with Baker and Nady?
I can't believe I even know these people. I'm ashamed of my internet life.

A player who puts up dramatically better numbers at home than on the road?  What a rarity!

You own part of Wrigley? That must be a license to print money.
