OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Last year, Kevin was my favorite secondary character, but Stanley has basically closed the gap.  I’ve said it before, but what’s great about this show is the depth of these secondary characters.

I still think Kelly is pretty underrated.  She hasn't been on much lately, but if she's on an episode, she usually has at least one pretty good line.

is dwight really going to be off the show?

Not a chance.  Angela kills Andy.  Andy out.  Dwight back in.  I'm sad that Andy will be gone, actually, but I see no other option.

I didn't like him as much this episode, but I think that was kind of the point.  I don't mean because he was trying to get Dwight fired.  I just didn't think he was as funny as he usually is.

Agreed.  His shtick might be getting a bit thin at this point.

Plus, we hardly ever see Creed now.

Agreed.  We need more Creed.

I thought Dwight was doing some weird Dwight thing on that sales call, but it was all part of the master plan.  What a team!

Angela's gonna end Andy.

If she doesn't end Kelly and Ryan first, because she hates those two people more than anyone else in the world.

Also, Stanley's sales call was awesome.

I'm pretty flattered.  I was Stanley's second choice ... after 'pass.'

He also chooses to opine: "I think the Broncos did the right thing in chartering a big plane and attending en masse the funeral for Darrent Williams Saturday in Texas".  Why is of any consequence to anyone that Peter "moral-compass" King thought that it was the right thing to do?  What an ass.

I also noticed that.  What were their other options?  Not go to the funeral?

Can't you just see Peter walking up to the sobbing Romo in the locker room? He'd like to peel off his jacket, Dwight Schrute-style and put his arm around him consolingly.

I'm sure someone more clever than I am can put together a Dwight/Romo exchange in the locker room.

http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/peter_king/01/07/playoffs/index.html

King's most predictable garbage of the year; he blows Tom Brady and Belichick lovingly (says Brady is the best quarterback we'll ever see), he ranks the Bears all the way down at No, 6, and he makes excuses for Tony Romo.

QuoteBut did you see the ball that was snapped to Tony Romo on the botched field-goal hold? Looked very shiny, perhaps slippery. It was one of the "K'' balls. Each game, 12 balls used only for special teams plays are kept on the sidelines, and when there's a punt or a kickoff or a placekick, one of those 12 balls is put into play. The ball came back to Romo on a good snap, and as he transferred the ball in his hands to put it down for the kick, it slipped from his grip. Wish I had a chance to ask him about it after the game. The way it slipped made the ball look like some of the waxy sheen was still on it from having just come out of the box.

And that's all I'm going to say.

Sex.

I had sex.

I had sex with Jan.

You know it's a crapfest of a Friday when we're reading and laughing at threads over a year old. Reminds of the Best of Paul re-runs we trot out every so often.

Is it February yet? Because I'm bored.

What's in February?

Who did he invite to Sandals?

You know it was Jan.

You think she said yes? I'm thinking it was Andy.

It's gotta be Jan. Besides, Ausiello told me so.

It's Jan.  There was some web promo for the Jan. 4 episode and it had Michael showing a vacation slideshow to the office.  Naturally, there's a picture of a topless woman sunbathing and Pam asks "Is that Jan?"

Heineken? f@#$ that shit...Pabst Blue Ribbon!

Sometimes I love to put on my thrift store T-shirt, step into my best ripped jeans, ironically part my hair, throw on some Wolf Parade and pound enough PBRs that even Coldplay sounds good.

Ah, it doesn't matter what you drink, it's all just warm piss in the end.

Maybe.  Though you have to admit, Pancho's piss is probably warmer and better than yours.

How about Stag? A Missouri beer, I believe.

When faced with the decision at the Edward Jones Dome (Club section at the Bears game last week) of a 24-oz. draft of Bud for $9.25 vs. a double Crown Royal for $7.25, the choice was easy. Plus a lot less pissing.

That's a really easy decision. The Crown is a nice drink.

I still get by with Jack and Coke. A classic.

I prefer a 7 and 7.  You're never too drunk to order one.

I'll have one beer and one 7 and 7 with eight Maraschino cherries, sugar on the rim, blended if you can.
