The trailer for Iron Man 2 is out.  I'll be there on opening night with BatG.

I don't really get why the second one is getting pretty mediocre reviews.  It's pretty much more of the first one, though not quite as good.  It's certainly entertaining.  Downey is predictably good (I actually think Paltrow has really good chemistry with him), Scarlett is hot, Favreau is funny, Rourke is gigantic, and Rockwell is the smug douche he plays in every movie.  It's worth seeing.

How good did you think the first one was? I thought it was ok.

I felt the same way.  It was a solid, entertaining summer blockbuster with a great actor playing the lead.  I wasn't as blown away as some people were, but I definitely enjoyed it.

I'm with Kerm. It was a nice fun movie. Nothing earth-shattering, but good.

Ok, so, if the second one is basically the same thing only not as good, why don't you get why it's receiving mediocre reviews?

Because the first one got really awesome reviews (93% at RT).  I figured this one was at least good for 85% or higher.  Instead, it's at 75%.  What's hard to understand?

I'm really God damn late to the party, but I finally broke the moratorium I had on watching Marvel movies after the double-disasters that were X-Men 3 and Spider Man 3. These films were good. That is all. Also, that Bocaj guy was a douche.
I will vow, for the sake of peace, not to complain about David Ross between now and his first start next year- 10/26/2015
