OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

I like Tina Fey. There I said it. She's my Jock Jones.

I liked her on the SNL news, I think she's cute for an old chick.

Her complete inability to act was in danger of ruining the first 10 or so shows.  They seem to be doing a better job of restricting her character so she doesn't stick out so much.

Bump-redirect.  Can anyone tell me the difference between the HP desktop computers a1750e and a1730n?  The only difference that I can tell is that the 1730n is available at retail and the 1750e is purchased direct from HP and is more expensive.

They have the same motherboards and the cases look identical at least based on the online pictures.  So they are basically the same thing.

The benefit of the online one is that you can customize some of the options and you generally don't have to pay sales tax.

It does feel better today. It's still sore from the shot though. It's a different soreness and I can rotate the arm in a swimming motion without pain. Yay?

Yay.

Bad shoulder movement will allways hurt good jerking off.  But as a recipient of two shoulder surgeries to reduce bone spurs, I can tell you if you have any relief, you probably don't need surgery, but therapy.  If you feel better, its not structural.  More shots up to a point will help.  If you had something like spurs, cortisone would do no good.

Good Luck

It depends.  My shoulder problems were based on compression (and bone spurs) and only happened when I rotated my arm up above shoulder height.  I can't say it ever impacted my jerking off.  I guess after a softball game it would hurt so bad I'd give the right arm a few days off...

Anyways, I did the anti-inflammatory -> physical therapy -> cortisone -> MRI -> surgery -> physical therapy route.  It was nice because I got all the pain of physical therapy twice.  If you do need further medical treatment, make sure you get a good specialist (if your insurance situation can handle it).  Try and get some benefit from all the research going into healing athletes.

Another hijack...

I had a cortisone injection in my shoulder today. I've had tendinitis in the long head biceps where it ties into the shoulder since late last softball season. It's hurt like a cunt with teeth ever since. Well, the numbing has worn off and I do feel a bit better right now, just moving my arm around into positions that used to hurt. There's some discomfort but not what there was. I'm obviously not going to test it out by trying to fire a football 50 yards or bench press my weight. But I'm wondering what I might expect.

If you've ever had such an injection, tell me: will the pain/inflammation continue to reduce over the next day or week? Or is this it?

Didn't do shit for me.  I take that back, it felt wierd for a week and then didn't do shit and my shoulder went back to feeling like I was being stabbed and then set on fire when I rotated it over my head.

I had some pretty major structural problems going on, though, so it's probably not comparable.

My pops has had a couple and they've worked well so hopefully it's more like that for you.

Went to Fat Willy's Rib Shack tonight.

I love Fat Willy's.  It's one of the few local type places I've ever been to that got more popular, expanded, and is still just as good.  They even validate parking if you park in the movie theater by it.
