QuoteThe score was a continuous succession: Italy with the formula of "two at a time" took the lead (2-0), recovered (4-4) is back in the (4-5) and thanks to the double (let's say even a little lucky with the ball drop at the climax of the exterior Gonzalez) Anthony Rizzo, Chicago Cubs first baseman of the Sicilian blood such as grandparents, in the ninth inning set the score at 6-5 and then well defended the last desperate attack of the Mexicans, who had the entire audience in favor for obvious reasons. But this Italy has had more heart, has nver given up, shook and leapt at the end because he has fiercely believed in this company.

I was half-expecting to be asked to give my bank account information by the end of that recap.

I feel like there are several depressing, Oscar-winning film titles in that recap:

"Climax of the Exterior Gonzalez"

"Last Desperate Attack of the Mexicans"

"Blood Such as Grandparents"

last desperate attack of the Mexicans is the best thing I've read

Pretty sure Blood Such As Grandparents is the newest Neurosis album title.

I'm assuming whoever wrote this is the Phil Rogers of Italy.

This is so bad, I'd root for the Orioles over this fucking team, but I can't. Because they're a fucking drug and you can't kick it and they'll never win anything and they'll always suck, but it'll always be sunny at Wrigley and there will be tits and ivy and an old scoreboard and fucking Chads.

I think the formula of "two at a time" was probably first mentioned in a FroDog Bulls recap. If those lousy players could just hit their free throws two at a time they might win some games.

Huey, you've been warned.

He is fouling most of them off to the left.  This is not good.  The pitcher is lobbing meatballs underhand and Rizzo can't catch up with them?

A bump seems in order.

Nice to have a guy in the lineup who's nearly 42 percent of the way to first base every time he steps to the plate.
