OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Probably Appel.
Maybe Gray.

Definitely Appel or Gray.

Except maybe Bryant.
Could be Bryant.

But definitely Appel.

It's looking more like whichever of Appel or Gray the Astros don't take.

Unless it's Bryant.

Or unless the Astros take Bryant.

Let's see how it plays out.

If the Astros didn't take either Appel or Gray, it's because they took Stewart.

Ok... So we've whittled it down to Appel or Gray, possibly Bryant.

Why don't we just trade the pick for Dempster?

Why not just do the Angelo and trade down for a couple third-rounders that will be used on safeties that either can't cover or can't tackle?

Urlacher retired

Smart choice.  Actually, if no one gives you a job, can you call it retiring?

I call it "my life".....

And the Cubs have signed Japanese closer Kyuji Fujikawa. The deal will be for two years with an option for a third season. Fujikawa will be in a battle with Carlos Marmol for the Cubs' closing job if the team can't trade Marmol. Fujikawa had 202 saves in Japan during the last 6 years. 1.36 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, 12.4 K/9, and 2.3 BB/9 in 369 2/3 innings.

Crap. Coleman cleared waivers and has been assigned to Triple-A Iowa. I was hoping he would never ever play for the Cubs organization again.

HEY!!!

Be careful. BC-isms have a certain power that mere mortals don't know how to handle.

Just ask the Mayans.

Lookin' pretty buff there, Big Campeche.

Well, I have been told body paint is slimming.

I really, absolutely, positively HATE this offensive line. Just pathetic.

Even as a third party to this horror show we all had seen this before and now it was happening to someone else. Still painful to watch.

It always happens to the Cardinals. Maybe BC was right. Maybe I've seen it too many times, too. I don't even think that's a joke anymore. That BC just knows.

Last night was the first time I have heard that "sound" of utter silence/disbelief/whatinthehelljusthappened? in 9 years. I hate that I care so much about baseball.

I'm not really sure where the idea that I hated Tillman came from. A couple years ago I gave the assessment that he relatively struggles against smaller, faster receivers while doing a great job against bigger receivers. I also said that Tillman might eventually have to move to safety if he lost some speed.

I still think both assessments are correct, but that doesn't get in the way of my thinking that Tillman has been and is a very good cornerback overall.
