OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

Anyone still watching? This season is strange in its way of unfolding, but it's been excellent and tonight was the best one of the season.

Man, this show is good. Chuck D, get my back here.

I haven't watched last night's episode, but I'm sure it's the tits. My KurtEvans and I have a friendly wager on whether Miguel is there to kill Ellen Wolf or to sex her up. Although, it dawned on me yesterday that because Dexter showed him the ropes, maybe he's going to kill her because he's been sexing her up and his wife got a little too suspicious. Unfortunately, if he does kill her, we'll never get to see her do some drunken scissoring with LaGuerta.

Finally downloaded this last night, and even though it is different and will take some getting used to, I am very happy with it. I like the visual changes. It looks very modern and seams to flow pretty well. I have no real objection to it as of yet. Does anyone know if there were supposed to be games you could play online for free with other people? I seam to remember hearing somewhere that there were very simple games that you could play against other avatars and you wouldn't have to pay for them. I couldn't find anything on them last night, so I'm starting to think I might be wrong in my recollection of that.

Get it? Because "It's Gonna Happen!"

URL to larger image?

If only you could switch the "If the Cubs win it all..." to Apex's quote about streaking and flipping off coppers.

Someone please post the large version of "GODDAMMIT!".

I didn't save the original, but this is pretty close.

Normally I don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling when people lose their jobs, but this made me smile.

A lot.

This season is really hitting it's stride.  Next week looks fucking intense!

I could do with a little less of the Rita/Realtor/Baby Drama, but I otherwise agree that this season is pretty damn good. If this was on HBO it'd be huge.

When you see her various pieces throughout the series (that's what she said)

I don't get it.

A thousand words.

Dennis and Charlie were awesome in this episode, but the Mac/Dee kidnapping storyline seemed like a rehash of the one where they kidnap that critic.  The scene where they actually break in to kidnap the family, however, was quite awesome.

Their faces were horrifying during that scene, and Charlie's rabid defense of Ty Pennington and Sears was incredible.  I honestly feel like the writers could choose any two of the main four, pair them off, and put them in any scenario, and I would love it.  All four of them are really outstanding comedic actors.

You know Mac, Dennis, and Charlie do the majority of the writing, right?

I probably should have.  Why doesn't Sweet Dee get to write?  Sexists.

She doesn't need to write, she's married to Mac.

In real life or in the show?

IRL.

And Charlie's married to the waitress.

QuoteThe parallels aren't exact, to be sure. Lincoln brought several personal rivals into his Cabinet, making secretaries of opponents who had criticized him harshly. Obama's political history is a relatively short one, and, until he ran for president, his most serious rivalries were with the Illinois state senator he beat to join the state legislature and the Illinois congressman who defeated him.

But an elemental similarity remains, in their stated regard for advisers who come from outside the president's circle of friends and political allies.

Republican Hagel's name has surfaced in discussions about who should head the Departments of Defense and State. Republican Lugar, who was friendly and helpful to Obama on foreign policy issues in the Democrat's early days in the Senate, has also been discussed for secretary of state.

At the same time, Obama this weekend has dispatched former Rep. Jim Leach (R- Iowa) to help represent him at the G-20 summit. And sources familiar with the discussions say there is some consideration being given to keeping Robert Gates, Bush's defense secretary, in the same position.

I believe Lugar already declined a cabinet position. I would love to see Hagel and Leach with positions in the Obama administration.

QuoteFrom NBC's Andrea Mitchell
GOP Sen. Richard Lugar says he does not want to be Secretary of State or to join the Obama cabinet in another capacity.  In response to speculation that Obama was considering Lugar for the State Department, a spokesman says the 76-year-old ranking Republican on Foreign Relations has definitely ruled it out. Lugar's spokesman says the senator has good relations with both Biden and Obama -- and looks forward to improving bipartisan cooperation on foreign policy from his position on the Foreign Relations Committee.

So anyway, Clamato and beer fucking rules.

The hell's Clamato?

Do they not have Google in Louisiana?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clamato

QuoteClamato (a portmanteau of "clam" and "tomato") is a trademark of the Mott's company which denotes a drink made primarily of reconstituted tomato juice concentrate and reconstituted dried clam broth, with a dash of high fructose corn syrup, and USDA Red 40 to maintain a 'natural' tomato colour.

I'm often assured that O'Rourke is the prototypical "funny" conservative.

He's alright on Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me.

QuoteHuh?

I've honestly laughed more at Dennis Miller than at this cliché-milking pud. Who you guys got on the bench?

Go easy on him, he's already received any punishment he deserves in the form of a festering tumor upon his anus.
