OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

They opened up a whole new book of arcs.
And, isn't it pretty obvious that Roslin is the final Cylon?

I don't think so.  She's been diagnosed by a few doctors as having cancer.  Why would they infect themselves with a disease?  Especially considering what happened when their scout ship found that contaminated beacon.

I tell you one thing, BSG really knows how to do season finales. Another great one.
The final scene with the approach of battle felt a little incongruous with the rest of the episode focused on the trial.

But I love the potential they've setup.  Hera needs to be protected beacuse she's the first Human-Cylon combination.  But the Chief has a kid, no?  The resistance was actually led by four of the final five.

And that last shot echoing the start of Contact was outstanding.

22 more eps, but not for 18 months?

They were on the bubble for a renewal.  Had they gotten the ok earlier, we probably would've seen some eps during fall sweeps.

They opened up a whole new book of arcs.

SPOLIERS

What caused the fleet wide power outage, did they jump into the middle of a cylon fleet or were they followed, what happened to Starbuck, have the new 4 been sabotaging the fleet subconsciously, what's the deal with Gaeta, who's the 5th , are they really cylons...  Correct me if I'm wrong but the cylons left for 40 years after they were defeated.  It's only been a year or two since they returned.  How is Tigh a cylon?  Weren't he and Adama old friends?  How would that be possible?

Very nicely done.  A couple huge twists that didn't feel like they ripped you off.  I bet the series finale is going to induce an orgasm so big it'll blow your cock off.

I can't believe I have to wait ill 2008 to see the next season.  Motherfucker.

I only compared them because some people have said that BSG is the greatest Sci Fi show ever, while I enjoyed Firefly a lot more.

I think that BSG probably is.  If only because that title shouldn't rest upon the shoulders of a show that only aired 15 episodes.  I think Firefly could've had a broader appeal (due to it's sci-fi, western, comedy, written by the guy who did Buffy mix).

BSG's closest competition is Farscape (IMO).

If you guys met the one person who mentioned this show in my office, I bet you would never watch it again.

Are you so sure?  We deal with BC and have dealt with teh Paul and still I root for the Bears/Cubs.

We started watching this show about a week ago.  We've just finished the first season, and the first episode of season two.

It's an entertaining sci-fi show - better than a lot of Trek, and pretty enjoyable even if there aren't many laugh-out-loud moments.  However, I will have to say that it's no Firefly, even if they had a Firefly ship in the mini-series.

I think thay are different types of sci-fi shows.  Galactica is more drama where as Firefly was more drama/comedy.  There were a lot of funny throw away lines in Firefly.  Galactica is played off as if this were an actual event, and really, where's the funny in the destruction of mankind?  Both are extremely well written.  It's really a shame that major network tv doesn't pick up a sci-fi show.

Season two was hit or miss...some good, some not so good....  Season 3 has been great or good.  You have much to look forward to.

First half of the season finale was damn good.  I'm looking forward to where this is going....

Now if only Comcast would get their shit together and pick up Universal HD (so I can watch this show in HD), this would be my favorite show on TV.
