Is Drew Barrymore talking dirty to Ron?

So Wheezer has nothing better to do than to watch this miserable group of slags?

I watched them too.  Hell, they even looked like a baseball team today.

Suck as they may, I'll still be missing it all winter.

To be fair, Wheezer only copped to listening to this miserable group of slags. That may or may not be worse.

Technically, it sounds like Wheezer was listening to them.  I watched/listened for some of the game, too.  Nice to see them start to play some actual baseball now that baseball season is nearly over.

Could you picture him sitting in a poorly lit room with an old radio? Hundreds of newspaper articles tacked up all over the walls? Maybe stolen US Mail?

I could.

I'm picturing him standing in a bucket of heavy water between a pair of homemade Tesla coils, with two hands full of blotter paper and Ron's aww-geezings being beamed directly into his primary auditory cortex.

I caught a little of the second half. They were absolutely brutal, Greenberg more than Golic.

He'd constantly "set the scene" reminding the viewers that a field goal would tie it and a touchdown would give them a four point lead. It really bugged me for some reason.
