Title: The Cape
Post by: Slaky on December 12, 2010, 10:07:56 PM
I'm probably going to try this show. It sounds a lot less queer than Heroes was. I hope they can focus on vigilantes and not magical superpowers.

How you didn't end up in marketing, I'll never know. Wait. Are you in marketing?

The premise of this show:

QuoteThe series, set in the fictional metropolis of Palm City Cliche City, follows an innocent cop Cliche'd Job who has been framed for a crime he did not commit stuck with a cliche that's the premise of every lame hero story ever and then left for dead riddled with bullets from the cliche gun after he is caught he is cliched. He is eventually saved by a circus ringleader saved by yet another cliche who prepares him with special abilities to defend himself against his foes a variety of cliches to defend him against his cliches. Separated from his wife and son Jesus Christ, they're not even trying, he tries to clear his name while protecting them from being killed did they fucking pull superhero memes from a hat? if he was ever reported alive. He takes the law into his own hands this is the premise of every lame super hero comic I've read in the last two decades by taking the guise of his son's favorite comic book hero, The Cape original?  Nope after he is given a special suit that has unique capabilities this isn't even the first time they've done this in a tv show - let me guess, he's got a perm? (http://www.navymats.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/The-Greatest-American-Hero.jpg) Vowing to get rid of the corruption Fuck.  This is supposed to entice us? that has taken over both the city and the police force, he goes after the person responsible for setting him up this has to be the lamest fucking show I have ever heard of and causing his "demise."

I would be more interested if this show was about Frank Costanza's lawyer.
