I'm genuinely gutted about this. Prince Buster is directly and indirectly responsible for a staggering amount of my happiness down the years.
Not only was his own music amazing, without him I doubt the entire Two-Tone label exists.

No chance. The dude straight up invented ska and rock steady. Without him, a big slice of the music I have loved in my life simply wouldn't be there. I was never much of a fan of reggae, but you could make a case for him having had a very significant impact on that, too.
