I've already seen about 10 hours of Olympics coverage.

I wish I was, but nope.  My wife loves the Olympics, and for the most part I enjoy them
too.  Compared to the number of shitty baseball games I make her watch, cheering
for the USA (I'm not a dirty commie like you CT) for a couple weeks is no big deal.

Unfortunately, the people who put on the Opening Ceremony either didn't get the memo, didn't see the video or were too tied to their schedule to adapt.

Yeah, because you can rework a four hour $40 million event in
a couple hours.  The dude got a moment of silence, black arm
bands, a solemn team introduction.  What the fuck else should
they have had?  An open casket visitation?  It's sad an athlete
died.  It's a tragedy.  But you don't cancel the Olympics.
