Anyone watching this shit? Tempted to leave Red Zone on and just wait for something to happen that doesn't suck.
I really hope all the bad things in life happen to this offensive line.
The offensive line does suck. But Martz is putting this team in a no-win situation. You can't be pass-happy AND call a game where the quarterback isn't protected on a consistent basis. Really bad play-calling to not call a run on that 3rd and 6 when a field goal would've tied it...
However, no excuses to be losing by 10 at home to Seattle. The Seahawks are a shit team.

Thank you Seattle for calling three straight passes when up 10 with 11 minutes to go.

Punting here is pretty fucking gutless.
Have to go for it on 4th and 1 there. Have to.
TERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIBLE spot on that catch. Yikes.
This team should be humiliated by losing to a shit team at home. Just terrible football.
Terrible O line and terrible play calling today.
The punter got his shit fucked up

It would've been a lot better for the Bears if they had gotten possession off that onside kick.
Maybe if Hester had taken every single kick back for a TD they wouldn't have lost. LAZY GUTLESS ASSHOLE!!!!

Even more BC'ed.
I believe they could have all five members of that offensive line executed, sign five turds off the street and lose nothing in production. I also think they could cut each of them tomorrow and only Chris Williams would find a home on somebody's depth chart. I have so much hate right now.

I am going into full retard speculation mode based on this (http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2010/10/18/bernstein-storm-clouds-gather-over-martz-smith/).
Is it possible that Lovie took the reins of the offense somewhat last week, or had some sort of veto power over the offense? Then this week, Martz was given free rein again and went hog wild calling 7 step drops and deep routes the whole game.
Alternately, the offensive line just sucks balls and the receivers run the wrong routes or can't get open and Cutler's mind grapes are turning to mush and I'm a dipshit and none of this matters.

I think we've simply overrated Martz's willingness to adjust based on what happened in Dallas. I think he went in against the Panthers with an intention to run and he stuck with it. I think he went into the game against the Seahawks intending to throw all over a shoddy secondary and just refused to adjust. I don't think Lovie has any control over it yet, at least. I just don't get this at all. Even in Martz's worst years in St. Louis he was never this over-reliant on the pass. He's out to prove some point that nobody can understand.

The failure on third down is utterly mind boggling. One would think that you would need to really go out of your way just to do that on purpose.

Remember last winter when no qualified coaches would touch the Bears' vacant coordinator positions with a ten-foot pole? And they ended up with Marinelli and Martz and said those were their guys all along but they just needed to do their homework and interview everybody out there first? That was awesome.

One of my goals in life is to get out to Odessa some day and catch a game at Ratliff Stadium. Sure, the Panthers aren't as badass (hell, last time I looked, they weren't even the best team in town) as they used to be, but it's all about the EXPERIENCE. And my son will want my life.
