It's a new flick from Peter Jackson and the director of a couple movies I've never heard of.  The movie's filled with no-name actors, but it looks like it could be pretty cool.

Don't take this the wrong way, but anyone that thinks that movie "looks like it could be pretty cool" should probably be playing blackjack with Tom Cruise in Vegas.

Because he's a ruh-tard.

(I didn't even watch the trailer, but, apparently, bustin' on Weebs is the thing to do these days)

It's a new flick from Peter Jackson...

...as producer, not director.

Using the word "from" and then listing the name of a well-known and Academy Award winning director creates the impression that said director directed the film.

How bad do you feel that you couldn't even rag on Weebs in a timely manner?

Anybody else go see this?  I thought it was a pretty excellent movie.  They kind of shove the "aliens as illegal immigrants" thing down your throat for the first 30 minutes or so, but then everything really picks up and it becomes action/sci-fi.  The special effects were quite amazing, to the point where you tend to forget that what you're watching isn't even real.  There's also some really sweet alien guns and lots of shit getting blown up.
