Title: Wine
Post by: CBStew on November 07, 2013, 05:23:51 PM
I admit it.  I prefer it to beer.  (I don't want to talk about Ricketsball anymore.)

Sometimes I do. Sometimes I don't.

Seriously?  No Buckfast?  Or Eldorado?  That, my friend, doesn't come even close to everything you need to know about Trampjuice.

QuoteIn summary, there are readily avaliable cheaper alternatives to Buckfast that have similar alcohol content.  As far as we can determine, Buckfast is a wine for alcoholics, but out of the price range of the destitute homeless.  Nevertheless, we salute it!

Didn't Ditka accuse us Bay Area types of being white wine sippers?  For the record, I won't drink Chardonnay, but I won't turn down a nice Pinot Grigio.

Come on Stew, live a little, go with a white 'Bordeaux', or Viognier or Reisling.  So so much good wine out your way.

Agreed.
Although my tastes run towards big Italian reds, when I want white a dry Riesling from Alsace really works well.
Good stuff.
