I know little of Sherwood Schwartz other than through these 2 shows, but though I've seen nearly every episode of the Brady Bunch and Gilligans Island, I will admit they're really stupid shows and, consequently, this guy always struck me as the anti-Norman Lear
Sherwouldn't make any plans....
As bad as Schwartz's TV shows were, I recommend a read of "Growing Up Brady" by Barry Williams, just to see how much of self-serious chode Robert Reed was, and how he kept wanting "The Brady Bunch" to somehow become compelling television.
