OK A-holes.  It's fixed.  Enjoy the orange links, because I have no fucking idea how to change them.  I basically learned scripting in four days to fix this damned thing. - Andy

You know, Caleb Hanie outplayed THE UNBEATABLE AARON ROGERS in the 2nd half.

More importantly, is there some cool rally where I can burn my Todd Collins jersey?

Yeah, DLC works itself into what is now the equivalent of career mode.  Basically, career mode is now road challenges where you'll have like 4 or 5 gigs or a few songs each.  For each gig they'll give you 3 choices.  The pre-made on disc songs already selected for you, or two others which for me usually involve DLC.  Might be random songs from rockband 1, 2, lego, greenday, or DLC, your choice from those, or something more specific like 80's, metal, 70's, grunge, etc.

They keys are fun.  I gotta play em more.  The woman has expectedly taken over playing them whenever we play the game.

There are still some lame problems like sorting (can't choose common dlc with others online, have to stroll through my whole list to see they have no DLC), stage kit no longer works, can only play 4-7 player with all instruments in "AIM" which makes the vocals not count at all.  Can't just play with the 4 instruments and no vocals without being in "AIM" also, which is just lame.

Oh, and the times I've tried to play online some fuckhole is still always picking Avenged Sevenfold and dropping out when I pick Huey Lewis.

I actually loved the first Mafia.  Had a great story and great atmosphere.  I'll get aroudn to playing it, but I'm in no rush.  Too many other games and other shit going on right now.

So I keep getting "Play DVD" when I pop a game in and dirty disc errors for brand new games. I guess it could be the games (the Play DVD is specific to FIFA 10) but I think my XBox is dying a slow death.

Anyone know my best bet to get a cheap one? I don't care if it's the old version. If there's a price drop coming on it because of the new one I'd like to know. I have a 120 GB hard drive so I'd probably only need the Arcade version.

Mine does that now and again and it's only a year old.

Slaky won't like "The Expendables" either.

He needs to know something doesn't need to be "good" to be awesome.

Here's the thing... I wouldn't really call Burn Notice "awesome."

any time that much shit blows up, it's awesome.

It's Magnum P.I. 2K.  That's alll I need out of it.  Well, maybe Donovan could sport a stache and a birds or paradise shirt.

Anyone here use roku or another internet media device? Now that hulu plus is out, seems like the need for comcast may diminish in a few years, outside of internet access.

My blu ray does Netflix on Demand.  It's awesome, even doing a fair number of films in HD via Wi Fi.  Comcast on demand is still good for current stuff like TV series episodes missed.  Hulu would do that as well, I guess.

Semi-related, we just moved to South Jersey and yesterday I had Verizon Fios internet and tv hooked up.  The net speed and performance so far has been outstanding.  The HD package is a little lacking in actual HD content I give a shit about.  Basically I'm whining that they don't carry G4 and Cartoon Network in HD (and a couple other channels).

So a friend and I were discussing the idea of getting a couple HD sling boxes so he could get channels I have and vice versa.  Not all that sure on how exactly we'd get it all working or if the channel changing would be possible or what.  Anyone have experience with the sling boxes?

Detroit to South Jersey. What's next on your list? Buffalo? Oakland?

You prefer maybe Fresno?

Albuquerque.

Ogden, Utah KansasUtah.

Get ready for the Sandberg era!

QuotePiniella told Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune that he will finish managing this season, but won't take another managerial job afterwards. "I know that this will be my last managing job," Piniella said. "I do know that for a fact."

I don't think he ruled out an extension; he just won't start over elsewhere.

Damn it, Brownie.  Cubs legend Ryne Sandberg is coming home to RESCUE THIS TEAM.  I bet the first thing he does is insist on reacquiring Mark DeRosa and Kerry Wood.  What do you have against HOPE?

I hope he starts a mandatory stirrups policy.

Ok, now that's a lot of new stuff, not just a rehash.

So is anyone getting the Evo? Seems like a much cheaper option than the iphone.
Would be interested in a review if so.

I have it right in front of me now.  Going to activate it.  stay tuned. . . .

Though, to be fair, TDubbs just asked the shoutbox what 4G is and why he has to pay $10 a month for it.

So... grain of salt.

It's awesome.  Get it.

A friend of mine got it and it's awesome, but fucking huge.  How the hell can you keep that in your pocket?

What are we talking about here?

Misgivings about New Jersey, I think.

Would have been awesome if that Hossa shot went in as the 3rd period was winding down, but the Kane goal was pretty cool once everyone realized that it was actually a goal.  Great ending to the playoffs.  Now, 4 weeks of World Cup and can almost see the beginning of football season.

What's a World Cup?

Question from an uneducated fan: is Hossa always this much of an unadulterated beast? That guy is a fucking puck controlling animal when he's on the ice. He just seams faster and stronger than the average hockee bear.

He is. His scoring or lack of it isn't the story. He's so goddamn good at EVERYTHING he does. His defense and back checking are world class. The dude is incredible. So glad he's ours.

There's a reason this is his third finals in a row.
