DPD.

This show is good.  And funny.  Thrill pulled a Weebs on this one.

THIS.

Watched a couple episodes last night (the "thread the needle with the airplane" one and the Shelly Long squares off vs. the hot muchacha one).

Thrill's defiant insolence aside, it's a funny show.  Will watch again.  If I remember to.

Wow... Weebs, TDubbs and Huey like it?

We're just an IAN and a Yeti away from this being declared the Great American Sitcom.

[waits for high-five from Slaky]

I don't have it in my TiVo..... YET

I like this show. I would probably regret not seeing it. I even like the gay dudes. Not figuratively, though. Just the gay guys who play them.

This show is fine. It's obviously nowhere near as good as the Office or 30 Rock or Arrested Development, but that doesn't mean it can't be an amusing half hour of television. The voiceovers at the end with the message of the week are lame, and a couple of the episodes have been clunkers, but its usually funny and its got Ed O' Neill and Phil the Inept Dad and Sofia's wobbly mammaries.

RV's right.  You won't hate yourself if you miss it and you won't hate yourself if you watch it.  It's Wings.

I've watched Wings and hated myself for doing so.

I'd say it's more Night Court.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with Wings.  Don't be so dramatic.  I will burn this messageboard down, Huey.

Eh.  We could probably use a fresh start sround here anyway.  Burn away, Jonny Dave.
I think he's more of the appendix of Desipio.  Yeah, it's here and you're vaguely aware of it, but only if reminded.  The only time anyone notices it is when it ruptures (on Weebs in the video game thread).  Beyond that, though, it's basically useless and offers no redeeming value.

If we're besmirching the good name of judge Harry I don't want any part of it.

The only good thing about Night Court was John Larroquette.

And Markie Post's cans.

Everything else about that show was as funny as blood in one's urine.

And yet you just compared it to Modern Family.

Which you previously suggested you think is both good and funny.

OK, so you and Huey have some bad blood, but it's bigger than that. My boy Mike, is going through some really tough times. They're trying to make him wear a coat that's different than his other coat.

Which I was so enamored with that I admitted I may or may not ever see it again, yes.  I merely wanted to rebut your dismissal of the show and give it some credit.

John Larroquette was so funny he was able to bring the show up to good and funny, although I still found it to be, by most standards,  an overrated show that rode the coattails of stronger programming that preceeded it.

You got any other hairs to split with that axe, Thrillbunyan?

No time for that now, Huey. I have to get these two sentences bronzed and shipped off to the Cognitive Dissonance Hall of Fame.

Ed Norton and Elizabeth Banks.  Classic.  You're missing out if you are missing this show.

The best part of the episode was when Al Bundy squirted MiniZambrano with the water bottle.  The worst part was Al Bundy's wife fully clothed.

I agree, and that pretty much sums up my feelings on the show.
