This series revolves around the idea that all electricity disappears around the world without any explanation. It takes place at least partly in Chicago, where some post-apocalyptic survivors pass Wrigley Field. They decided they needed to make it believable enough, so the producers made one alteration in the pilot. But just remember, the show asks you to suspend belief about physics and other real-life matters, but putting a Chicago Cubs: World Series Champions banner on Wrigley was far too much.

So, 15 years after the power goes out, they can just power up a helicopter and there are people who are completely comfortable flying them, shooting the miniguns and rockets that probably haven't been inspected in years?
