Disney's main plot device used to be killing off mothers (Bambi); removing them from the action by imprisoning them (Dumbo); or simply bypassing their role in the birthing process (Pinocchio). Kind of makes you wonder about Walt's relationship with his mother, doesn't it?

Apropos of which, I met a guy this weekend whose name is Adolf Hiller. I'm not fucking joking. He was born in the fifties and that was what his parents christened him. He goes by Adi, not surprisingly.
