A goatee and a Van Dyke (http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-the-difference-between-a-van-dyke-and-a-goatee.htm) are two types of beard styles worn by men. They are both quite popular, but the Van Dyke is often more popular and is more often considered a professional look. The two styles are often confused because of their similarities, but a goatee only covers the chin, while a Van Dyke also includes a mustache.

Maybe you meant goatse?

Much as Chuck's pedantry is annoying, he's right: nearly everybody who thinks they have a goatee actually has a van Dyke, which is a goatee with connecting moustache.  A goatee is, of course, named after the beard of the goat, which doesn't have a moustache.  I have the exact opposite of a goatee.

Why are we arguing about facial hair when Yeti needs to be putting up the Deadpool post.

I do intend to list my unsubmitted Post-Its when this comes to pass.
