Title: 2018 Desipio Fantasy Baseball League
Post by: PenFoe on February 20, 2018, 03:12:57 PM
League has been renewed and all players from last year should have received invites. Please let me know if you did not receive.

A few notes:
1. We have inactive two teams from last year (Chuck, Thrill) that we would welcome new owners on.  You will get their current rosters and the ability to keep players.

2. Was not planning any rule changes, but please post if you think there's any opportunities there.

3. With Trea Turner now only qualifying at SS, I have a logjam at the position.  Now accepting trade offers for any one of the following. Listed in order of easiest to obtain:

Josh Donaldson - 3B (4th round keeper.)
Manny Machado - 3B/SS (9th round keeper)
Francisco Lindor - SS (14th round keeper)
Trea Turner - SS (21st round keeper)

Where do we access the spreadsheet that tells us what round each of our keepers is assigned for this season?

Actually, Yahoo built it in this year. Awesome new feature (tip o' the cat to Yeti for finding it.)

Go to "Draft" then you'll see a dropdown for "Last Season" which will tell you everyone on each team and their 2018 keeper round.

Very nice.

And if you want a third baseman I have some hump named Bryant with an 11th round tag on him who I'm keeping.  But Anthony Rendon (7) and Travis Shaw (10) are available.

Just to clarify (I know Andy got it), it shows the 2017 draft position, and you have to add the 2 rounds

So...do we have a full league?  I see two teams who have all of their 2017 draft picks still on their rosters.

When's the keeper deadline? When's the draft?

Here's what I'm thinking:

- Remove Thrill and Chuck as inactive managers, scale league down to 10 teams
- Keepers Due Wednesday 3/21
- Draft this coming Sunday night (3/25)

Any thoughts?

Keepers were due yesterday. As in the past, it doesn't help if you note them on Yahoo. You have to post them here.

Still waiting on a lot of you.

I'm traveling starting Saturday, so I won't be able to enter keepers into the system after tomorrow, so they will not be counted.

After ending with nearly identical records in the regular season, Shooter and I tie in the finals 5-5.
Yahoo has me winning the tiebreak, though I'm not sure the rationale.

Great season to all, let's do it next year.
